Turin's patron Saint's day celebration is coming up with St. John's Day on June 24, when the traditional fireworks will return to Vittorio Veneto Square.

This edition will feature a number of cultural, musical and entertainment events starting on Thursday, June 23, with the lighting of the traditional faro and the historical procession in period costumes through the streets of the center, and continuing through Friday, June 24.

Some of the events organized for the patronal festival:

  • Rowing Regatta: from 2:30 to 7:00 p.m. organized by the Friends of the River Club; it will end at 10 p.m. with a moment called "Music on the Water."
  • Beach volleyball match "St. John 2018": from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. organized by the Circle of Friends of the River.
  • Visit to Provana Sea and Submarine Museum at Valentino Park: from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Valentino Park.
  • Historical car parade: 4:00 p.m. Vittorio Veneto Square.
  • Musical Bands: from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. through the main squares of the city.
  • Pyromusical show: from 10:30 p.m. Vittorio Veneto square.
