Giro d'Italia 2025

Giro d'Italia 2025

Once again this year, the Piedmont region is hosting some parts of the renowned Giro d'Italia, a traditional event in which sport and territory take centre stage.

The Piedmont route is structured in two stages, which also touch the Valle d'Aosta and kick off the Grand Finale of the event:

- The 19th stage, on 30 May, departing from Biella and arriving in Champoluc, with a distance of 166 km

- The 20th, which on Saturday 31 May will start from Verrès, to enter Piedmont and cross the Valli di Lanzo, go over the Colle del Lys and climb the Colle delle Finestre, to reach the arrival in Sestriere after 203 km uphill.

The highest point of the Giro will also be reached, with the Cima Coppi at 2178 metres.

These will be two decisive stages for the Corsa Rosa, ahead of the final stage in Rome.

As every year, the cyclists will be accompanied during the race by the wonderful views of our region.
