Dorothea Lange. Racconti di vita e lavoro

"Dorothea Lange. Racconti di vita e lavoro" is an exhibition documenting the events that profoundly changed the United States during the 1930s and 1940s. The Southern United States at that time was hit by a severe drought and continuous sandstorms that destroyed agriculture, forcing many families to migrate. Dorothea Lange was part of the group of photographers charged with documenting this exodus, producing a collection of stories reflecting a glimpse of the past that allows us to reflect on the present.
200 images exhibited at the Camera - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia of Turin that with the power of black and white bring back the great themes of our time: the climate crisis, migration and discrimination.
