Since 1841, The Costamagna generations dedicated to Barolo production. The long story began in the XIX century with Francesco Costamagna, carried on in the 1960s by Claudia Ferraresi and Giorgio Locatelli, and for the last 30 years by their son Alessandro. A glorious location for our historic ageing cellars and tasting rooms. A unique place of beauty, which stirs rare emotions: One of the most evocative places for wine lovers.
Following the ancient tradition, Our Barolo is produced with long macerations and ageing in slavonian oak barrels. The deep cellars for ageing were built at the end of the XVI century and are some of the oldest in the whole area. The four elegant suites are housed in the characterful building; the accommodation is enhanced by antique furniture, precious paintings and art creations by Claudia Ferraresi.
