La Badessa

In the historic Palazzo Coardi of Carpeneto, in Carlo Emanuele II Square (Carlina Square), the restaurant La Badessa welcomes the idea of ​​the "kitchen of the monasteries" since 1996.

With old and recent recipes and the simplicity of healthy and seasonal products, La Badessa proposes the authentic pleasure of cooking. It could not be otherwise as its name is inspired by a noble abbess who actually lived, famous for her culinary skills.

In fine weather it is possible to eat directly on the square, thanks to the external space. The interior rooms instead have an antique furniture and artworks from different Italian convents.
